We have beautiful mangroves surrounding some parts of our island (Coochiemudlo, Queensland) and I'm lucky enough to receive some photos that friends take while they're kayaking through these mangroves, I'm too chicken to go out on the water so thank goodness for those friends.

I live on beautiful Coochiemudlo Island and I have painted this scene many times in different mediums, it is a very natural environment that really moves me. It's simple, I can feel the water and sand between my feet as I stand in this place and the cool breeze on my face reminding me I'm not alone out here, a glorious place.
