I live on beautiful Coochiemudlo Island and I have painted this scene many times in different mediums, it is a very natural environment that really moves me. It's simple, I can feel the water and sand between my feet as I stand in this place and the cool breeze on my face reminding me I'm not alone out here, a glorious place.

Oil on board, This painting was painted over a number of weeks, I wanted the colours to stay clear and saturated to a point, I find that hard to do with the Alla Prima technique.  Hope you like the painting.

Three Little Milk Bottles

SOLD
I saw these lovely glass bottles, they so reminded me of my young school days where we were given small bottles of milk each day, of course these bottles aren't real milk bottles but they did remind me of those times. I'm really loving painting glass at the moment, especially at the end when the highlights beg to be placed on the subject, so lovely! I'll keep practicing glass for a while I think. Hope you like the painting.
